In this unit you will begin to explore the exciting world of coaching in practice. There are no exams this is your moment to step into your coaching career. You'll put into practice your learnings from the Psychology subject and:
  • Apply the processes of setting up a coaching session for success.
  • Build coaching skills and techniques so you work with clients in an evocative partnership that creates a safe and empowering process for them to reach their wellness goals.
  • Understand how to move between coaching and mentoring with clients.

This unit is all about your scope of practice, knowing how to connect clients to the appropriate support. Understand the common health challenges our communities face, become familiar with the agencies at the forefront of research and have access to the current health guidelines and recommendations to best support your clients holistically.
DNHC506: Coaching Practicum  >>      
Part of being a successful coach involves having built confidence in your coaching while training, and gaining a clear vision of your clientele and how to best connect with them. In your practicum subject you'll accrue your coaching hours, explore holistic modalities, learn how to refer clients to other professionals and work alongside them, and how to connect with local, regional and global agencies who may provide support for your clients where needed. 
You'll attend live virtual classes, be coached and mentored through your practical component of your training towards becoming a Certified Coach.

Ayurveda is a spiritually-based practice that connects the mind and body in its view of health and disease.
