Start your life as a holistic wellness coach with practical experience and confidence

Part of being a successful coach involves having built confidence in your coaching while training, and gaining a clear vision of your clientele and how to best connect with them. In your practicum subject you'll accrue your coaching hours, explore holistic modalities, learn how to refer clients to other professionals and work alongside them, and how to connect with local, regional and global agencies who may provide support for your clients where needed.
You'll attend live virtual classes, be coached and mentored through your practical component of your training towards becoming a Certified Coach.

Live Classes
In this unit you will have the opportunity to attend a number of live classes and webinars on specialised wellbeing, business and coaching topics. Examples include:
  • How to Run Discovery Sessions
  • How to Find Clients
  • Digital Marketing
  • Creating your client avatar and connecting authentically with them in your marketing
  • Understanding the foundation knowledge of human nutrition
  • Introduction to Podcasting
  • Dealing with Imposter Syndrome Feelings
  • Responding to mental health red flags
  • Introduction to EFT and more.
You will also attend small group mentoring classes, allowing plenty of opportunity to connect with peers and coach instructors.

 
Practice Coaching
As your skillset develops you will continue to build up and log your practical coaching hours. Coaching fellow students is a great initial step to build confidence and expertise, and we have a pool of students/ graduates at the ready to share your practice hours with.
 
Professional Practice Tasks
Upon completion of this unit you will walk away with your own compendium of resources relevant to your coaching practice. You will experience a range of holistic modalities and develop a community resources file of the local and global agencies that you can connect clients with when necessary. From this you will create your professional referral network that can be used when referring clients for specialty care.

Stepping into your Coaching Business
Finally, you’ll work through the tasks that step by step, allow you to plan and start creating your coaching business while you study. By the time you graduate you will have created a plan to setup, price, promote and market your coaching business. You will understand the essential elements of how to start your business from on boarding clients and how to take payment through to managing details with booking apps and contact management systems.
