Green Envy Chia & Oat Protein Balls


Green Envy Chia and Oat Protein Balls Recipe

Ingredients
½ cup whole rolled oats
3 tablespoons desiccated coconut
2 tablespoons chia
2 tablespoons greens powder
1 tablespoons cacao
1/3 cup honey
¼ cup coconut oil
1 cup hot water
Extra cacao for dusting
Method
  1. Place rolled oats, coconut, chia. Greens powder, cacao into a blender to roughly chop the ingredients. Remove from the blender and place into a medium sized bowl.
  2. Melt the honey and coconut oil on a low heat (on stove or microwave) until melted and mixed together. Remove the honey and coconut oil mixture from the heat and add to the dry mixture.
  3. Slowly add the hot water until the mixture begins to pull away from the sides of the bowl, forming a very soft dough. Keep mixing until the water is absorbed by the dry ingredients.
  4. Allow to cool in the fridge and roll into ball-shapes. Dust with a cacao.
  5. Place in the fridge to cool completely before eating.
