Coffee, can't you just smell the grinds. But what effect does it have on us?
How much caffeine are you drinking?

Caffeine was once considered a diuretic, which was believed to increase dehydration.  However, we now know that while caffeine does cause some fluid loss, where it is consumed as a liquid there is generally a net gain in fluid, caffeine also has its benefits in sports nutrition and is no longer a banned substance.

If you're finding the path to choosing "How to become a Nutritionist" somewhat confusing, you're not alone. It may not surprise you to hear that it is one of the most commonly asked questions in our office so we can confidently say, we completely understand your confusion! 


'NUTRITIONIST' vs NUTRITIONIST
Currently in Australia and NZ there is no strict control over who can use the label 'nutritionist', that's in part why you see the term used so loosely in so many course names. Having said that, one of the central reasons you're wise to undertake a relevant course is so that at the end of it you are:
a) Accepted by a reputable industry association and;
b) You can gain public liability and indemnity insurances so you can practice safely.

  • You ate another biscuit so you then followed through with the entire packet, again.
  • Again, you slept through the alarm after getting to bed late
  • You snapped angrily, again
  • You bummed another ciggie.
  • Drank more than you wanted to.
  • Forgot your sports clothes.
  • Stayed back in the office and forgot to call home.

  • You forgot to remind yourself to smile.
