KRISSY ROPIHA
|
Krissy Ropiha is a mum of three and founder of Her Nourished Kids, a website dedicated to kids nutrition and navigating the tricky nature of mealtimes for families. Krissy is now a university qualified nutritionist, but her journey into health and wellness all began with Well College Global.
"Prior to WCG I was using my psychology degree in a corporate job. Through a series of events, including overcoming an eating disorder and struggling to fall pregnant following a PCOS diagnosis, I began to delve into the world of nutrition and health." "I fell in love with nutrition, from the science and evidence to the real-life results I was seeing. After successfully falling pregnant and as a new mum I wanted to learn as much as I could to not only improve my own health and relationship with food, but the health of my family and the relationship my children would have with food." When Krissy enrolled into the Nutrition, Health & Wellness Coach Certification program she was busy working part-time while raising her young children. She was quite nervous in committing to study a new qualification, but that the flexibility around the study made her decision easier. "I studied to be a Certified Nutrition and Health Coach. As a university graduate I was blown away by the quality of the material provided to us at WCG. I felt supported any time I had a question or needed clarification. I actually enjoyed studying with WCG so much that I returned soon after completing the coaching certification to complete additional courses!" After graduating Krissy worked as a Nutrition & Health Coach for a few years and decided that this was truly the space she belonged in. Krissy enrolled into a post-graduate program at University and is now a fully qualified nutritionist. She was even able to take study credits from the Nutrition & Health Coaching program with her, accelerating her studies through recognition of prior learning! Krissy is now the proud and passionate owner of Her Nourished Kids, a space dedicated to supporting families through tricky meal times (aka fussy eating), and absolutely loves that her work days combine her love for psychology and nutrition to support families.
